Shelley nutter

Shelley Nutter, a Plain Township native and a graduate of GlenOak High School, has built a 28-year career in medical billing, with more than 14 of those years dedicated to the mental health field. She was recently named C&A’s front desk and billing manager, a role that draws on her deep experience, leadership, and long-standing commitment to client care.


Nutter originally joined C&A’s finance department in 2020, serving through 2021 before expanding her experience in Walsh University’s mental health counseling department. She returned to C&A as billing supervisor and has since advanced through roles as commercial biller, supervisor and manager before stepping into her current position.

Her work is driven by both professional expertise and personal connection. “Youth and mental health issues are very close to my heart, especially having a family member who has faced struggles in her past,” Nutter said.



Nutter brings a compassion and a client-centered approach to every aspect of her work with client families at C&A.
