JESSICA LANCE

Jessica Lance started her career working with adults struggling with substance use in community corrections, where she learned her desire was to work with children. She wanted to help youth overcome the challenges they face in their life, in hopes to prevent them from turning to unhealthy coping strategies.

Lance joined C&A as an intern in 2011, working as a school-based therapist in Canton City, Louisville and Alliance city schools. She enjoyed running summer group programming and groups at Pegasus Farms. She stayed at C&A for five years before moving into private practice.

To continue to grow and develop professionally, Lance returned to C&A in January 2024 as a school-based therapist and clinical supervisor. She is passionate about helping children and adolescents be successful despite the barriers they may encounter. As the Case Management Program Manager, Lance gets to supervise other clinicians, helping them to develop their skills and become the best providers for the families we serve at C&A.

Lance earned her bachelor's degree in psychology, and master’s degree in community counseling from The University of Akron. She is a licensed professional clinical counselor supervisor (LPCC-S).

When not at work, Lance and her husband are cheering on their two boys in various sports, reading or volunteering in their Sunday School class at their church.
