Annette Holder
Annette Holder is a consultant in the enterprise risk department at FirstEnergy. Holder worked at First Energy, formerly Allegheny Energy for more than 20 years. She started in the accounting department before advancing to work in Risk Management departments such as P&L Reporting, Insurance, Credit and Collateral, Risk Control and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM).
Holder recently held a substantial role in the capital planning process, working with FirstEnergy’s operating companies with a particular focus helping them identify risks associated with their capital planning. She encourages a team environment that values, encourages and supports new ideas.
She was a member of FirstEnergy’s Women in Leadership employee resource group and Women in Leadership Founding Chapter Community Involvement Council member. She helped coordinate activities for the United Way Campaign and the Harvest for Hunger Campaign supporting local food banks.
Holder’s additional experience includes working as a closing officer/coordinator for Seabol & Company, Inc., and as an Adjunct Professor at Westmoreland County Community College teaching accounting and finance courses.
Holder received her bachelor of science degree in accounting and MBA from Seton Hill University. Her professional certifications and community services include:
