Donations made to C&A during Giving Tuesday will go towards the purchase of new supplies for our Day Treatment students, including school and art supplies, weighted blankets and adult-sized bean bag chairs.

Purpose:

• School and art supplies can be used for art therapy. Art therapy is beneficial as it allows students to express their thoughts and feelings without words. It also acts as an additional coping method.
• Weighted blankets are used to reduce stress and increase comfort during difficult or challenging moments.
• Bean bag chairs lessen anxiety as students sink into the chairs and become enveloped in the material. These chairs also meet sensory needs.
