PRESENTERS

Jim Broyles, Ph.D

Dr. Broyles is Director of Professional Affairs for the Ohio Psychological Association. He continues to focus almost exclusively on providing support with insurance issues. Most of his efforts are divided between providing member consultation on insurance problems and advocating with insurance companies on behalf of psychologists. Additionally, Dr. Broyles has been a psychologist in private practice since 1990. He received his doctorate from The Ohio State University and is the past president of the Ohio Psychological Association.

Dustin McKee, MSW

Dustin McKee, MSW, is the CEO of the Ohio Psychological Association. As a veteran advocate in health, human and social services, Mr. McKee has led major initiatives to improve the lives of individuals and families impacted by mental illness, substance use disorders, poverty, and complex health conditions. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Earlham College and a Master of Social Work degree from Ohio University. Prior to obtaining his MSW, Mr. McKee provided direct supports to individuals with serious mental illness in a community support program in rural Indiana. As a result of these professional experiences, and the experiences of his family, friends and loved ones, he is a passionate advocate for individuals living with a mental illness.
