“I love the Ten Things that Require Zero Talent,” wrote C&A Board Treasurer Casey McCloud as the advice he would give to people. “I would add these tips to the list as well. Honesty and integrity are cornerstones of success. Don’t be afraid to fail – learn from it and move forward. Lastly, nobody makes it out of here alive – so enjoy life.”

McCloud, who grew up in the Portage Lakes, graduated from Coventry High School. He earned his bachelor’s and master’s degree in business administration both from Walsh University.

McCloud, who is the finance administrator for Stark County Family Court, wrote about how he became affiliated with C&A.

“Stark County Family Court has a long-standing affiliation with C&A,” wrote McCloud. “When I became aware of a board opening, I felt it was a great opportunity to continue strengthening that partnership, to further educate myself around the ever-evolving field of behavioral health and to assist our younger population and future generation.”

McCloud, a two-year board member and second vice-president, wrote what he likes best about working with C&A.

“I get a sense of greater purpose in what I do,” wrote McCloud. “I believe that in order to best serve the children and families in this community, it is extremely important for systems to collaborate. It takes the input and skillsets of a diverse group to create the best environment for success. Everyone at Family Court and C&A have that common goal of supporting the community and helping children succeed. I enjoy doing what I can to help.”

McCloud currently serves exclusively on the operations committee of C&A. In addition to C&A, he serves on Stark County Family Council’s Service Coordination Committee (SCC) and Service Review Collaborative (SRC). He also works in conjunction with the Ohio Department of Youth Services (ODYS) and other various organizations to promote the use of evidence-based services for juveniles throughout Stark County and beyond.
