Our History
Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health (C&A) has been apart of the Stark County community since 1976. We provide a staff of experienced, trained professionals who work at our three locations in Downtown Canton, Alliance, and Belden Village, in schools located in Stark County, and in homes working with families. C&A is a group of mental health professionals that offers treatment services to children, adolescents, and their families. Clinical staff members at C&A have extensive training in their respective disciplines, and offer treatment services within a wide range of specialty areas. C&A has earned national and state accreditation from the Council on Accreditation, American Psychological Association, Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services, and Ohio Awards for Excellence.
Our agency collaborates with many organizations in the community such as Stark County Mental Health and Addiction Recovery, school districts within and surrounding Stark County, Head Start, Stark County Family Court, the United Way of Stark County, and the Stark County Board of Developmental Disabilities.
Most services provided by Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health are covered by Medical Assistance or Private Insurance. In those cases where there is no coverage, clients will be informed prior to receiving the services and will be given the opportunity to be assessed for eligibility for financial assistance. No client will be refused service because of an inability to pay.
