PART-TIME ACCOUNTANT

JOB DESCRIPTIONS/DUTIES

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for general accounting tasks, support financial reporting, help ensure accuracy of financial records while improving accounting processes. This role is a great opportunity to grow your skills in a dynamic work environment. 



Key responsibilities:

  • Record monthly journal entries and accruals
  • Preparation of monthly financial reports including but not limited to general ledger reports, schedules and balancing reports
  • Reconcile general ledger and bank accounts
  • Analyze financial data, identifying and investigating any discrepancies
  • Perform all daily banking duties
  • Assist with analyzing financial statements and reporting on variances
  • Identify opportunities for improved efficiencies and accuracy in accounting processes
  • Perform other tasks as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or CMA certification a plus)
  • 2-4 years of experience in an accounting role
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated, organized, and detail-driven

LOCATION

We have two locations in Stark County including Belden Village and Plain Township. This position can be a remote position.

Salary Range/Compensation: Based upon experience.

Hours: Part-time, weekdays.
