Shannon Mathie

Shannon Mathie has advocated for the rights of children in Stark County for almost two decades. Her special interest is in the mental health needs of those with developmental disabilities.

Mathie has worked in healthcare administration roles in Stark County for 20 years. Her role as director of strategic initiatives includes managing projects that enhance C&A’s programs and services, collaborating with clinical staff and providing analytical support.

When Shannon is not working, she enjoys traveling, reading and spending time with family.

Her educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration on healthcare administration from Mount Union College and a master’s degree in healthcare administration from Kaplan University.
