
Dr. Marysa Williams

Dr. Marysa Williams has held a variety of positions at Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health. She started as a doctoral intern in 2015 and stayed on as a postdoctoral fellow. In June of 2017, Dr. Williams left C&A to work for Northeast Ohio Behavioral Health. She returned to C&A in December 2018 and currently holds the position of Psychology Doctoral Internship Training Director.
Dr. Williams is a licensed clinical psychologist. She is passionate about working with underserved and traumatized youth and families. Dr. Williams has a special interest in providing trauma-informed therapeutic services to children and adolescents who are residing in foster care environments due to abuse, neglect, or other exposure to adverse life events. She strives build hope and resilience in youth and families, while fostering independence so that her clients no longer need the support of therapy.
Dr. Williams’s educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in psychology from The Ohio State University. She earned her clinical psychology master’s degree and doctorate (PsyD) from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Chicago.
